The wound could be a visual metaphor for Princess' "splintered" psyche, since the wood comes loose once she stops seeing things. Princess' splinter is likely genuine too, as the cut is still visible afterward. The Commonwealth soldier (who definitely is real) says " you heard my boss," all but confirming the interrogation took place, and Princess also retains the bruise she received during questioning - even after noticing her hallucinations. The Commonwealth interview sequence appears to be legit, as Princess imagines things that make her feel better, not worse. Yumiko tasting the butt of a gun might've happened, but a Commonwealth soldier later claims he doesn't know anything about this, casting doubt on Princess' recollection, but not completely disproving it. I dunno.Plenty of moments in "Splinter" remain vague enough that they could be real. As audience members of the show, whenever we've seen a nice community, we're like, "Mmm. like give her the low down of what's really going on behind-the-scenes in the Commonwealth.
Though she is very talkative, she doesn't share much about her life prior to or even since the outbreak. We don't see the conversation she and Mercer have at the episode's end, but I assume he trusts her enough to start filling her in - On their journey, the group of Eugene, Ezekiel, and Yumiko meet Princess, a survivor whose cheery attitudes masks her loneliness and insecurities. So I think she's starting to sense, "This is not what we thought it was and I don't know if I'm OK with that." We've seen that throughout her time on the show. I find her incredibly annoying.I dont think its the character so much as the terrible actress playing her.They finally got rid of Alpha now they bring in. I think she is because she's so observant. Is she starting to suspect that maybe the Commonwealth may not be as good as it seems? What can you tease for Princess and her allegiances when we see her again? She's pretty cozy at the Commonwealth right now while some of her friends haven't been up until this point. I know that there aren't any more scenes with Princess in this chunk of episodes because I've watched the 11b finale. That may come in handy on the show's final eight episodes. We learned on season 10 that Princess is extremely observant of others.

Lázaro said it's bittersweet for the series to be ending, but she has been able to connect with so many of the fans and previous cast members at conventions.

Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko, and Princess are captured and separated. In fact, we get a brief glimpse of her in the trailer for Season 11 Episode 19 (we won’t share any spoilers here.) So it looks like we’ll be seeing her again soon. With Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Christian Serratos.
